Bulletin board entries are meant to provide coaches, rinks, and associations with the capability to promote ice times and time based messages at ice rinks. Some coaches are leary of auctioning their ice times so bulletin boards give the coaches an alternative to auctions. Free Bulletin board Free bulletin board entries can be used by coaches to list the ice times that they want to sell but don't want to auction. They can also be used by coaches to list practice times, game times and special rink meetings. Associations could list the entire association schedule if they would like to. Free bulletin board entries do not send emails to registered users. Bulletin board listings with an email distribution If you would like an email distributed regarding your bulletin board listing you can do so by checking the email distribution box. This will send an email to all the people who have indicated that they are interested in activity at this rink. For this service there is a nominal charge, currently a dollar. Special pricing Associations have the ability to pay an annual fee which gives association members the ability to post Bulletin board items and select to send emails to all registered users (at that rink) for free. There is usually a fee of 1.00 for this service. Talk with your association and convince them of the value of paying for the entire association.
